The Review Messages utility, opened from the View menu or from the Tool bar, allows the user to view all component messages. This tool often provides the most convenient way of reviewing multiple messages or those resulting from a specific application.
Choose
an Application - drop down field allows user to display listing
of all messages or filter for only those generated by selected application,
as applicable.
List
Only - drop down field allows user to display listing of all messages
or filter for only those attached to selected component type, as applicable.
Component
List - window displays all components (by supplying circuit, coordinate
location, and local name) that have messages and meet applied filtering
criteria. Note: List box heading
indicates total number of components found with messages for applicable
filtering.
Component
Messages - window displays all messages associated with the component
selected in the Component
List window.
[Write
to File] - writes all component
messages to a text report file (i.e. *.rep).
[Remove
Messages] - removes all messages attached by the selected application.
[Only
Check Circuits Selected for Analysis] - when selected (i.e. sunken
button), the application will list messages only for components in circuits
that have been selected for analysis, (i.e. from Analysis
menu).
Zoom
Options - allows user to zoom displayed view in drawing window
[...IN] or [...Out]
by the specified [Scale
Factor] amount, without exiting dialog.
[Close] - exits the Review Messages dialog.
[Help] - opens applicable help topic.
[About] - displays version information for application.
