The Planning Tool, initialized from the Tools menu, enables a user to plan changes to an existing circuit, which may be implemented in future stages of development. This tool allows user to model modifications and resulting impacts to system before actually implementing on the active system drawing.
This utility begins by opening the Project for Circuit Modification Planning dialog (shown below), where user may initiate a new project plan or select an existing (i.e. previously saved) project for further development.
Project - indicates a new project plan will be initiated or allows user to open selected plan for review or updates.
UserID - indicates the userid associated with selected project.
Description - indicates description associated with selected project.
[Delete Project] - deletes selected project from saved (i.e. available) plans.
[OK] - proceeds to initiate a new project or open the selected project plan by launching the Circuit Modification Planning dialog, which serves as the interactive project outline, allowing user to define plan, make updates, and create comparison reports.
[Cancel] - exits the Planning utility.
[Help] - opens help topic for application.
