The Loading Analysis tool analyzes a network to determine the maximum and minimum load conditions that occur during a specified time period.
The run begins with user specifying setup options, via the Loading Analysis Setup dialog.
Time Point Analysis Options setting defines the time points used for analysis.
Analyze ALL Time Points - runs loading analysis for all time points found in database.
Analzyze Time Points as Selected - runs loading analysis using only the time points currently selected for analysis, i.e. via Analysis/Select Times for Analysis setting.
Analysis Type setting
Selected Substation - when applicable, allows user to run analysis for entire substation, selected during execution.
Selected Circuit - runs loading analysis for circuit, selected during execution.
Proceeding with run, via setup dialog's [OK] command launches the selection process (via mouse pointer-finger). After circuit selection, results for circuit are displayed in the Time Point Loading Tool dialog.
The user is presented with a summary of the minimum and maximum peak load conditions found by the analysis. The information includes the number of various types of loads, number of time points considered, along with per phase results for time-varying losses, peak current, real and reactive loads that occur at indicated peak loading point.
The [Toggle MIN & MAX Views] command button toggles the displayed values between those occurring at minimum load conditions and those at maximum load conditions, during the analyzed time frame.
The [Next Circuit] and [Previous Circuit] commands allow user to step the analysis through each circuit supplied by the selected substation.
