Selecting the Circuit
Tools item from the main Tools
menu (or
icon from tool bar) opens this dialog, which
provides access to commonly used tools related to circuit display and
review.

Level 1:
[User Options] - opens the User Selected Settings dialog, which allows user to customize preferences for general and application-related default settings.
[User Fonts] - opens the User Fonts Options dialog, which allows user to customize preferences for Font Size and Color Selections.
[Load Research Plots] - opens the Load Research Statistics Plotter dialog, enabling user to plot Diversified Daily Loads or monthly kWH to kW Conversion Factors by customer type, and calculate time of day kW load.
[GeoText Options] - opens the Geographical Text Settings dialog (when applicable), which defines text-related settings of geographical components.
Level 2:
[Extensive Search] - opens the Control Component Search dialog, which is an additional search tool available to user.
[Check Circuit Colors] - opens the Manually Control Circuit Coloring dialog, which allows user to check for duplication of circuit colors in system and to update defined color schemes (used for circuits in Color by Circuit view).
[Transfer Ln/Cable Names] - opens the Transfer Line/Cable Names dialog, which allows user to batch process Local Name assignments for lines and cables, transferring the Conductor-Phase name (from database) to the Line's or Cable's Local Name field.
[Show Line Connections] - runs the Show Line Connections utility, which displays the selected circuit colored by connection type, i.e. grounded vs. ungrounded connections.
[Operate Loop Switches] - runs the Loop Switches utility, which finds all loop switches in the selected circuit and allows user operational access via dialog.
[Split Line/Cable] - runs the Line Splitter utility, allowing user to split a selected line or cable component into two distinct components.
[Control Cmp Display Info] - opens the Control Component Display Info dialog, which enables user to batch process updates for component display settings.
[Color Circuit Loops] - runs the Color Circuit Loops tool, which enables the user to graphically highlight all loops found in a selected circuit.
[Check/Set Line Length] - runs the Check/Set Line Length tool, which checks defined length of each line and cable in the active system, attaching a warning message to any zero length segments and changing any negative valued segments to Auto-Calculate value, with attached message describing change.
[Check/Set UIDs] - runs the Check/Set UID tool, which checks the UID field values for all components in the active system, adding a unique value to any components without UID entry and changing any duplicated value to a (system-generated) unique value.
[Mark All Cotrees] - for applicable installations, allows user to mark a fixed cotree location that remains constant through switching cycles of feeding paths.
Level 3:
[Denote Feed Directions] - runs the Feeder Path Trace Tool, which enables the user to graphically highlight the applicable feeder path to a selected component.
[Trace to Brother] - runs the Trace to Brother tool, which enables user to graphically highlight selected component's forward path, along with its Brother component, when applicable.
[Trace to Adjacent Source] - runs the Trace Path to Adjacent Sources tool, which enables user to graphically highlight existing adjacent sources for the selected component, when applicable.
[Multi-Pt Lines & Cables Tool] - launches the Multipoint Lines & Cables tool, which allows user to break existing multipoint runs into individual segments, or combine existing segments into multipoint runs.
[Mark Cmp Impedance] - runs tool that marks each component in system with manually entered impedance data.
