Selecting User Options from the Options menu opens the User Selected Settings dialog, which allows user to customize preferences for general and application-related default settings.
Generic Options:
Show ALL Cmps Pen_Width based on Phases - select to have point-type component's graphical representation (i.e. bitmap line thickness) correlate with associated number of phases. Otherwise, all point-type components are drawn with single pen line-width.
Always Show Application Setup Dialogs - forces display of all application setup dialogs during execution. Note: Setting here will Override the Interactive Apps option setting from the GUI Options dialog.
Circuit Colors Reduction Factors - controls the zoom level at which the displayed drawing automatically invokes a Color by Circuit view, which overrides (default view) Color by Part setting. Increasing the set value will increase the drawing zoom level where the override occurs.
Number of Components in System - click the command button to display the total number of components in the current system.
Application Extended Options:
Base Line Customer Voltage - defines
the default customer level voltage.
Max Customer V% - defines the allowed voltage variation (in percent) above default for normal operating range
Min Customer V% - defines the allowed
voltage variation (in percent) below default for normal operating range
Current Year - defines the current operational year for the active system
Forecast Years - defines the number of (future) forecast years available load forecasting.
% Emergency Low Voltage Sag - allowable minimum voltage level during emergency operation, typically used for reconfiguration application.
Min Lagging pf - minimum threshold for power factor on components, below which Power Flow will issue warning message.
Max Phase Imbal - maximum threshold for phase imbalance between component phases, above which Power Flow will issue warning message.
Max Reverse Network Prot kW - maximum allowable kilowatts reverse power flow allowed through a network protector, above which power flow will automatically open the network protector.
% Overload Limit for Xfrms - maximum allowable overload percentage on distribution transformers above which power flow will automatically shed load supplied by transformer- indicated on component dialog by Transformer Status of "Open due to Excess Overload".
Min Cable/Line Length to Apply PI Model (x1000ft) - any conductors that exceed this value will be modeled using PI section line models.
Auto-Close Open Overloaded Xfrms - causes power flow application to close all distribution transformers that have been opened due to excessive loading, prior to analysis.
Use IEEE Method for Delta Flow Calculations - when selected, IEEE method of transforming Line-Line voltages to a virtual neutral reference is used in Power Flow calculations for Delta configurations. See IEEE Variance Settings topic for more details.
Use IEEE Type Display for Xfrm Tap Values - when selected, tap values are displayed using the IEEE definition. Otherwise, tap values are defined using the standard DEW definition. See IEEE Variance Settings topic for more details.
Lines and Cables Options:
[Default Line/Cable Options] - opens the Line and Cable Default Selections dialog, allowing user to define default constructions for lines and cables.
Auto-Updated on Phase Changes - uses default constructions to automatically update lines/cables when number of phases changes.
[On Component ADD Settings] - opens the ON Component ADD User Settings dialog, allowing user to set default preferences for added drawing components.
[General API Options] - opens the General User API Options dialog, allowing user to set default preferences for controllers, file-path locations. fonts, colors, etc.
