This dialog can be opened directly by selecting Component Information Display Settings from the Options menu, or may also be launched via the Circuit Tools dialog.

Type of Component Selection - The user may...
Specify a specific component type for the update by using the drop-down list
Use the Special Types selection to apply the update only to a common component type grouping (i.e. Lines & Cables), with option to apply only when length of run exceeds a minimal setting.
Apply the update globally by selecting the [ALL Component Types] button, which deactivates the drop-down and Special Types selections.
Control Display Options:
Display Item - user identifies the items (i.e. component properties) for update by selecting corresponding buttons, i.e.
[Local Name] - select to update display status of Local Name component property.
[Results] - select to update display status of Results component property.
[Text] - select to update display status of Text component property.
[UID] - select to update display status of UID component property.
Note:
Buttons appear sunken when selected (i.e. [Local
Name] and [Results]
in above screen shot).
X Pos - defines horizontal positioning for the indicated display item from center of component symbol, in pixels.
Y Pos - defines vertical positioning for the indicated display item from center of component symbol, in pixels.
Reset - Yes / No button indicates if (X,Y) positions for corresponding Display Item are flagged for selected update action.
Note:
The (X,Y)
Position
boxes are editable only when Reset
flag is set in Yes
state.
[Allow Device Movement] - indicator button (sunken when selected), which allows user to batch control device movement permissions for selected component type.
Note: Device Movement correlates to the Locked Component status, which controls whether the device state of a component can be systematically reconfigured via certain applications (i.e. changes to phases, switch states, loadings, etc). It does not effect the capability to physically relocate a component's position in the model.
Type Update Selection - determines setting state for components and items included in update, as well as system or circuit applicability.
Turn ON - select to set ALL included components/items to be turned ON.
Turn OFF - select to set ALL included components/items to be turned OFF.
Toggle ON/OFF - select to toggle each
included component/item (independently) to its alternate state, i.e. ON items are changed
to OFF, Locked items are
changed to Unlocked,
and vice-versa.
Entire System - select to apply included component/item updates to the entire system.
Active Circuit - select to apply updates to the currently selected (specific) circuit. Note: This selection is enabled only after an update has been previously executed and applied to a specific circuit.
New Circuit - select to apply included
component/item updates to a specific circuit, which is specified by user
with mouse (pointer finger) during Update
command execution.
[Update] - executes specified updates to the active system or applicable circuit.
Zoom Display - allows user to zoom displayed view in drawing window [Up] or Down [Dn] by the specified amount, without exiting dialog.
Components Updated Info:
[Show # Cmps] - when selected, i.e. sunken indicator button, the window will display the number (count) of components that were included by the previous update command.
