Rotation of Components Dialog

Selecting the Rotate and Shift item from the Edit menu opens the dialog below, which allows the user to rotate angular orientation or shift (x,y) coordinates of specified drawing components.

Rotation Reference Coordinate
: Defines reference coordinate location for rotation or translation (i.e. Shift) operation.

[Pick... Circuit / etc] - enables (left-click) mouse selection (via pointer finger) of Component, Substation, or Circuit where rotation or shift operation will occur.
Note
: Command is not applicable for System or Coordinate Point selections, and is therefore inactive.

Reference Coordinate Information: Displays or defines reference coordinate information for the indicated selection.

[______________] - display window indicates the Local Name (or an applied designator) for the current selection.

X-Crd Location [__] - displays representative x-coordinate of selected component (i.e. from-node), defines the x-coordinate (origin location) of rotational axis, or defines (horizontal) x-shift value for translation.

Y-Crd Location [__] - displays representative y-coordinate of selected component (i.e. from-node), defines the y-coordinate (origin location) of rotational axis, or defines (vertical) y-shift value for translation.

Angle to Rotate (Degs) [__] - defines the angle of rotation (in degrees) for indicated selection using right-hand rule, i.e. positive rotational angle for counter-clockwise rotation.

[Rotate Circuit Components] - command button for executing the defined Rotation or translation (i.e. Shift/Move) operation.

[__] Zoom Factor - enables user to control the Zoom level, i.e. In [++] or Out [--], of the drawing window during the Rotation/Translation interaction.
