Go To Dialog

Selecting the Go To item from the Edit menu opens the dialog below, which allows the user to pan (i.e. center) the drawing view to a specific component or geographic location.  The dialog can also be launched from the Tool Bar short-cut: image\OLD_0016_wmf.gif


 

Substation - the Substation column provides a listing of all substations in the active drawing, enabling user to go to a specific substation or to select one for subsequent filtering.

Feeder - the Feeder column provides a listing of all feeders (or Circuits) supplied by the selected substation, enabling user to go to a specific feeder or to select one for subsequent filtering.

Element - the Element column provides a listing of all elements (i.e. components) contained in the selected substation/feeder, enabling user to go to the selected component.

 

X [__] - displays x-coordinate of the current selection's midpoint, or allows user to input the desired pan-to X value.
 

Y [__] - displays y-coordinate of the current selection's midpoint, or allows user to input the desired pan-to Y value.
 

[Find Components] - exits Go To dialog and opens the Find Components dialog, enabling user to perform advanced search operations to locate existing system components by name, UID, etc.

 

[OK] - executes the GoTo command, panning view to the current selection.
 

[Cancel] - exits dialog without execution.  
 

[Help] - opens this Help topic.
 

[__] Zoom Factor - enables user to control the Zoom level, i.e. Up [++] or Down [--], of the drawing window during the Go-To interaction.
