Selecting the Flip X or Y Coordinates item from the Edit menu opens the dialog below, which allows the user flip the horizontal or vertical portion of circuit to a mirrored layout about the selected reference line. This function is primarily used in conjunction with the Copy & Add utility during construction of sample circuits.
Coordinates to Transpose / Flip:
Flip X Coordinates
Right to Left (-X) flips about a vertical line through either:
the Minimum X-coordinate in circuit for "Picked Circuit", or
the start-point
of the Picked Component.
Left to Right (+X) flips about a vertical line through either:
the Maximum X-coordinate in circuit for "Picked Circuit", or
the start-point
of the Picked Component.
Flip Y Coordinates
Bottom to Top (+Y) flips about a horizontal line through either:
the Maximum Y-coordinate in circuit for "Picked Circuit", or
the start-point
of the Picked Component.
Top to Bottom (-Y) flips about a horizontal line through either:
the Minimum Y-coordinate in circuit for "Picked Circuit", or
the start-point
of the Picked Component.
Reference Axis / Line:
Picked
Circuit - defines reference axis for flip to be the outermost coordinate
edge of circuit in the indicated directional setting.
Picked Component - defines the applicable (horizontal or vertical) reference axis for flip to be the Start-point of the selected component.
