Selecting the Copy and Add item from the Edit menu opens the dialog below, which allows the user to copy an existing component, section, or circuit and add it to a new location.

Options:
Pan to Component After Add - automatically refreshes display to center added component location in the drawing window.
Modify
Local Name w/ Add On [__] - automatically
alters Local Name field of added component by appending entered string (up to 3 characters) onto end of the copied
component's Local Name.
Note: If Local Name field is
empty, the append does not occur.
Modify UID w/ Add On [__] - automatically alters UID field of added component by appending entered string (up to 3 characters) onto end of the copied component's UID.
When Adding IN Schematic View, make necessary
component modifications - Adds the
appropriate prefix (i.e. SV_) to substation being copied from normal view
and added into the schematic view.
Components Selections:
Start Component Pick Options - defines selection mode for the Copy operation. User may specify as:
Single Component - enables user to copy only a single component (Starting Component Selection) to a targeted location (Add-at Component Selection).
Pick Feeder Path End - enables user to copy a path segment of components, from Starting Component Selection through Ending Component Selection, to the target location (Add-at Component Selection).
Pick Start > Add Branch - enables user to copy an entire branch of components, from Starting Component Selection through the end of applicable branch, to the target location (Add-at Component Selection).
Starting Component Selection - window displays Local Name (if defined) of starting component selected for the Copy operation.
[Pick
Starting Component] - launches
mouse pointer finger, enabling user to select the starting component for
the copy operation. Note: If Substation or Start of Circuit is selected
as the starting component, then user must either confirm that entire circuit(s)
will be copied for selection to be accepted.
Ending Component Selection - window displays Local Name (if defined) of ending component selected for the Copy operation.
[Pick
Ending Component] - launches
mouse pointer finger, enabling user to select the ending component for
the copy operation. Note: Not applicable when copying Single Component or entire
Branch.
Selection of Component to Add @ - window displays Local Name (if defined) of component selected for the Add-To operation.
[Pick
Add @ Component] - launches
mouse pointer finger, enabling user to select the component, [or (x,y)
location for substation copies], where the Add-To operation will be performed.
Note: For entire Circuit copies, the selected
component must be a substation (or source).
Use Zero (x,y) Offsets ON Add - Active only for Substation (source) copies, selecting this option directs application to add the new substation/circuit layout directly on top of the copied one.
