Load Research Statistics Plotter Dialog

This dialog is used to control plot settings for Load Research Statistics.

Customer Type - drop down selection indicates the customer class being analyzed, with full description showing in the (read-only) display field above it.

Day Type - user selects type of day for analysis from drop-down list. Available types are: "Weekday", "Weekend" or "ALL Days".

Notes:

Depending on specific customer database, Weekday and Weekend selections may be replaced with the individual days of the full week, i.e. Monday through Sunday.
ALL Days may not be used in combination with ALL Months selection in the Month's drop-down.

Month - user selects the calendar month (or "ALL Months") for analysis from the drop-down list.

Type of Plots:

Diversified Load - defines plot type to provide the average expected load at a specified hour of the day for a given type of customer, month, and day. This curve is used by the Load Estimation application to predict the load at any hour of the day.
kWHr to kW C-Factors (All Months) - defines plot type to provide the kWH-to-kW conversion factor as a function of month for the selected customer class. This conversion factor may be used to multiply a kilowatt-hour measurement to obtain the expected peak kilowatt demand.
Diversity Factors - defines plot type to provide the diversity factor as a function of the number of customers, month, and type of day for the selected customer class.

Number Customers [__] - defines the number of customers used in determining diversified loading and peak kilowatt estimations.

Plot Options:

Create New Plot - directs application to create a new plot each time the [Plot] button is selected.
Add Curve to Plot - directs application to add new curve to the currently displayed plot when [Plot] is selected.

Peak Monthly Loading Calculations:

kWHrs [__] - defines the kilowatt hours being used for the peak monthly kilowatt load calculation.

Hour [__] - defines the time of day (hour) being used for the peak monthly kilowatt load calculation.

[Calculate kW Load] - command to execute the peak monthly load calculation for the currently defined conditions, i.e. Customer Type, Day Type, Month, Number of Customers, kWHrs and Hour, with result subsequently shown in the adjacent display field.

[Estimate kW***Hrs] -

[Generate an Annual Report for ALL Classes] - generates summary report listing consumption data by month (and number of customers) for each defined load class.

Note: Diversity effects on monthly consumption are assumed negligible for more than 10 customers in a class.

[Plot] - executes plot command with current settings to either create new plot or add curve to current plot.
