The circuit component, used to identify the start of a separate circuit run, must be initial component connected to every substation. Once connected, other components can then be incrementally added to the circuit/station.
See General
Dialog Details for information on commonly used dialog fields and
commands, as only the highlighted
fields and commands unique to the Circuits dialog are addressed in this
topic.
Display
Circuit - setting to display the circuit components in the drawing
window.
When multiple circuits are connected to a single substation, this
option allows user to view only circuits of interest.
Analyze
Circuit - setting to include the selected circuit in applications
analyses.
This setting can be enabled either from the individual Circuit
dialogs or by the [Select
Circuits for Analysis] command on the Setup
for Analysis Execution dialog
Voltage Dependency Factor - specifies the percentage change in load current per percent change in voltage magnitude. As Voltage Dependency Factors may be specified either for an entire circuit or for individual line/cable loads, the circuit specification is applied only to line/cable loads that do not have individual specifications. For more information, see the Introduction to Power Flow.
[Percentage Load Growth] - opens the Percentage Load Growth dialog shown below, allowing user to specify individual growth factors for each customer class. The growth factors define annual growth rates for each load type in the circuit, which get incorporated into forecast data and load estimation applications.
