Total
Fluid Run Time [__] minutes - defines
the time interval between runs of the Fluid Flow application, which generates
the current flow conditions for mixing and reaction calculations.
Mixing
Time Step [__] seconds
- defines the time interval between successive Water Quality mixing calculations
for constituent concentrations in the system based on transport mixing
or injections occurring at junctions, tanks, etc. The
mixing calculations update concentrations using results from the latest
runs of Fluid Flow and Water Quality Reaction.
Reaction
Time Step [__] minutes
- defines the time interval between successive Water Quality Reaction
calculations for constituent concentrations in the system based on bulk
and wall chemical reactions. The reaction calculations
update concentrations using results from the latest runs of Fluid Flow
and Water Quality Mixing. This interval establishes
the time span for which the Reaction results are assumed valid for Water
Quality mixing calculations.
Use
Previous Mixing Data - directs application to use the last saved
results as the starting point for the current run of application, instead
of the defined initial conditions (from Constituent
Settings dialog).
Bulk
Decay Coefficient - defines the global bulk decay coefficient,
used for Chlorine decay calculations unless a local override value has
been defined.
Wall
Decay Coefficient - defines the global wall decay coefficient,
used for Chlorine decay calculations unless a local override value has
been defined.
Bulk
Scaling Factor - default value for local bulk scaling factors,
used for local adjustments of the global bulk decay coefficient.
Wall
Scaling Factor - default value for local wall scaling factors,
used for local adjustments of the global wall decay coefficient.
XML Output:
Save output to XML File
- application saves system status and results to an XML file, allowing
them to be used as initial conditions for a subsequent run.
Restart using historical XML data - application retrieves saved XML data and uses retrieved conditions to initialize current run.
Report Options:
Generate a Report
- when selected, application generates Water Quality report for results
of run. (See Water Quality Sample Report)
[Constituent Settings] - opens the Constituent Control dialog, which allows user to define initial values and operating ranges for applicable water quality parameters.
[OK] - accepts setup changes and exits dialog.
[Cancel] - exits dialog without implementing changes.
