Tolerance [___] - If calculated pressure change between two successive iterations is within specified value, Fluid Flow completes execution and proceeds to results.
Max Iterations [___] - If specified number of iterations has been completed without meeting convergence criteria, Fluid Flow stops execution, highlights and attaches a convergence failure message to circuit/component.
Hazen-Williams - directs model to use the Hazen-Williams method to calculate headloss as a function of pipe flow.
Darcy-Weisbach - directs model to use the Darcy-Weisbach method to calculate headloss as a function of pipe flow.
Manning - directs model to use the Manning method to calculate headloss as a function of pipe flow.
Global Constant R - allows user to apply a global fluid resistance scaling factor to all components.
Low Pressure [___] - If operating pressure falls below this limit, Message/Indicator is attached to components where violation occurs.
High Pressure [___] - If operating pressure exceeds this limit, Message/Indicator is attached to components where violation occurs.
Scale Loads - Loads/Demands are scaled by the applicable scale factor, which may be used to model time-dependent demands or for model calibration.
Calculate Load Scale Factor - Scale factor is automatically calculated from available measurement data, such that demand loads in model correspond to measured values.
Scale Factor [___] - Applied scale factor that uniformly increases all load demands in the model by the entered multiplier.
Generate
a Report - when selected, application generates Fluid Flow report,
providing Pressure and Flow details for the water distribution system.
(See
Fluid Flow Sample Report)
[Model
Check Features] - opens the Model Check Features dialog,
which provides user with additional flags and options for validating and
correcting the model. During the application run,
components with a (flagged) property value outside the defined range will
be have an attached message indicating the violation.
[Fluid Properties] - opens the Fluid Properties dialog, which allows user to define key characteristic properties for the working fluid of distribution system.
