Fluid System Analysis

Application Overview:

Fluid System Analysis is a custom Time Sequence Analysis application developed to run an extended period simulation of Fluid Flow and Water Quality analyses for a specific installation.  The application is designed to run in synchronization with automated data collection from SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) system monitoring and must be configured accordingly.

Application Run / Results:

Fluid System Analysis is a custom application available only for DEW installations that have been configured to support this option with a compatible data monitoring system.  It can also be run in conjunction with a simulator for development and testing purposes.  If the application has been installed and properly configured, it will be available for selection in the Time Sequence Analysis dialog, which is opened by selecting the Time Seq. Analysis item from the Analysis main menu.

The Fluid System Analysis application is a calling routine that directs runs of Fluid Flow and Water Quality analyses.  As such, the application calculates the results applicable from these two analyses and the configured/available real-time data.  See each analysis for more information on its associated variables.

During run, the Fluid System Analysis Application dialog is displayed to provide run status updates and to issue the Stop Processing command to terminate the run.

Note!

The display is locked during analysis execution to prohibit user input, with results automatically updated for each new Fluid time step.

Available Output Variables:

The output variables available for display from the Fluid System Analysis application are the combined set from Fluid Flow and Water Quality analyses.  The selections are individually made from each analysis.
