The Electrical Analysis Application Setup dialog is used to define setup parameters for (Time-Sequenced) Electrical System Analysis.
Electric [__] minutes - defines the time interval used between data retrieval runs and subsequent analyses.
Real Time - sets application to run in Real-Time mode, where data is automatically streamed to model from SCADA measurement sources.
Run Continuously (manual stop) - application runs continuously with applied settings until user issues the [Stop Processing] command from the Electrical System Analysis Application dialog.
Run for [__]
Electrical steps
- application runs for the input number of time steps and then automatically
stops processing.
Playback
- sets application to run in the Playback
mode, which allows user to review model results by sequentially stepping
through a stored data set, which has been stored from DEW as a "tsdat"
file.
Data
Available in source directory from ...to...
- indicates available date range of data from the saved data file (when
applicable)
Start at [__] - defines the initial time point for playback data retrieval
End at [__] - defines the final time point for playback data retrieval
Playback Time Step [__] - specifies the time period between successive data retrievals from stored data. This defines the amount of time the user has for reviewing one time point's data set before the next time's data set is played.
[Save] - retrieves data sets from a compliant ODBC database and stores in time-sequence text format (*.tsmdat) required for playback. See Time Sequence Store topic for more details.
[Set
Elevations] - runs the Set Elevations
module with the associated elevation configuration file (defined by user),
enabling user to attach elevations to model.
Enable XML Output
- sets application to generate an XML output file (i.e. ElectricalSystemAnalysis.xml)
for model results.
[OK]
- accepts defined setup parameters and initiates execution of (Time-Sequenced)
Electrical System
Analysis.
[Cancel] - exits setup dialog without further execution.
